Results of the journalistic competition on water issues in East Africa

Africa 21 and its partner the Water Diplomat are pleased to announce the results of the journalistic contest organized as part of the cycle of activities dedicated to water issues in Africa.

The jury of the contest has designated the following persons :

  1. Thuku Kariuki (Kenya) ; Eco Africa — The Environment Magazine ; DW ; March 10, 2023.
  2. Lina Mwamachi (Kenya) ; Plenty yet scarce: Kenya’s Taita Taveta County suffers water shortage as Kisenyi dam dries up ; InfoNile ; March 6, 2023.
  3. Sarah Natoolo (Uganda) ; Water Pollution ; UBC Radio ; February 8, 2023.
